Campbells Spaghettio's meatballs are being recalled by the Agriculture Department on Jun 17 last night. The USDA had announced that the recall will affect cans bearing the code EST4K. The recall is nationwide and will affect the batches between Jun 2010 and December 2010. The recall affects the following Campbells products:
Spaghettio's with MeatBalls
Spaghettio A to Z
SpaghettiO's Fun Shapes
Marie Callender's Cheesy Chicken & Rick
White Meat Chicken and Broccoli over Rice Topped with Rich Cheddar Sauce
The recall is due to salmonella cases that affected people who had eaten Marie Callendar food between Apr and May. The recall may also be traced to a Texas plant that may have under processed the food. Roughly 15 million pounds are being recalled.
